Hi dA watchers! Guess what? This is an honest-to-goodness journal entry! I felt like actually typing a bit about current events and stuff. And why not? Life is going alright for me.

So my main point of interest here is that I'll be at Cape Cod this weekend. I was thinking about about bringing my laptop and doing a bit of writing, but who knows. I just want to be able to say that I've been to Cape Cod just once. So it should be fun. I can't wait to eat some fresh fish.
My band (formerly known as Various Artists) has a new name: Blueless! (Basically, it means "not having blue." It's a long story.) We've also got some new songs that we're forming, and we're going to rerecord our old pieces. Without too many spoilers, here's our current lineup of songs. Most of them are unfinished, keep in mind, and some may never be recorded again! Gasp!
Original Songs:
20 Miles
Crap Keeps Happening to Me
"Magic" Song
"Mellophone" Song (I think I want to name it Write that Song, or perhaps The Courthouse is Now a Bar. Though honestly, the name is up in the air at the moment.)
The Cowboy Song
I Hope That This Works
Claustrophobia
Covers:
Sharp Dressed Man -- ZZ Top
It's the End of the World as We Know It -- R.E.M.
Down on the Corner -- Creedence Clearwater Revival
Polly -- Nirvana
Closing Time -- Semisonic
Take on Me -- A-ha
That's a pretty decent setlist, now that it's all written out. There's also lots of other random stuff that's mostly unnamed or just silly.
So anyways, what else has been going on? Well, I decided recently to create a blog for reviewing video games. Writing is obviously a big hobby of mine, and I'm a game-design-art major, so I figure it'd be good for a portfolio. When I start writing reviews, I'll post a link here so you can all see my suggestions. I'd like to think I'm pretty fair in my assumptions, and I pretty much own every major system. (Well, not a PS3. But I do like PS3s. They're neat.)
So, my dad somehow pulled some strings at the college he works at, and got me some awesome scrubs. Now I have really comfy pseudo-pajamas that constantly remind me of sexy nurses! Sort of. They're still awesome. Of course, now he thinks I'm like... super nurse obsessed. Okay, maybe I slightly am. But I did actually meet a cute nurse recently! And she remembered my name, and got me soda! Did I say this in a journal before? Oh yeah, and she did it cuz I passed out. I'm not so good at blood tests. I don't mind needles or blood--I just don't eat big-enough breakfasts. I also headbutted the poor nurse, but at least I warned her that I was goin' down.
Well, that's it! Also, I'd really like to expand my number of pageviews. It's sort of low, especially when compared to

. I don't see why she doesn't recommend me to all of her friends. Wink wink hint hint. So I guess I'll try to be more active and hope for the best. If anyone knows a good way to meet new friends on this site, I'd love to hear them. I'm just so shy sometimes though...
....somehow.
